Broiled Salmon With Bitter Sweet Crunchy Slaw

I really subscribe to quick and easy when it comes to creating meals. For this recipe I used what I had on hand which was salmon and garden greens.


The Salmon

Seasoned to your personal taste.

  • Packaged Wild Pacific Salmon - comes in individually packed fillets

  • Paprika

  • Sea salt

  • Black pepper

  • Garlic Powder

  • A few drizzles of olive oil

  • Rub together, add to air fryer pan, place a small pat of butter on each salmon steak

  • Broil for 15-20 minutes at 450 degree celsius

  • Salmon should be firm but soft and flaky on the inside


Bitter Sweet Slaw

This has got to be one of my favorite salads. It usually breaks my fast to start my day. Gut and glucose friendly, a bit of tang, a bit of sweet. Perfect combination.

  • Shredded green and purple cabbage

  • A few torn dandelion leaves

  • Chopped radicchio

  • A spoonful of sauerkraut

  • A few sprigs of parsley and cilantro (a must so don't skip)

  • Half an apple (I love me an Ambrosia but any apple will do)

  • A drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette to bring it all together

  • Mix
